Khagrachari (খাগড়াছড়ি]) is a district in south-eastern our country. It is a part of the hill division of Bangladesh called Chittagong Hill Track. Its homely name is "Chengmi".

Khagrachari is also known as Phalang Htaung the Mong Circle. Khagrachari town is the home town of the Mong Chief (currently King, or Raja, Saching Prue Chowdhury He is the head of the Arkansas descendants living in the circle.
